Ricardo Baixauli Ferrer
Born in Alfafar (Valencia) in 1963.

He began his musical studies at the School of Music Association Music "Santa Cecilia" of Sedaví (Valencia) and then entered the Conservatory of Music in Valencia where he obtained degrees in the specialties Professor of Clarinet, Music Theory and Theory Music, Transposition and accompaniment, harmony, counterpoint, composition and instrumentation, and Senior Lecturer in the fields of Clarinet, Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Orchestration, Choir and Musicology Department, obtained also the "end of career Honorable Mentions" in the subjects of "Clarinet" and "Counterpoint and Fugue."

He has served on various instrumental groups such as the "Wind quintet" of the Conservatory of Music at Salamanca or "clarinet quartet" of JJMM of Valencia, with which it conducts various activities throughout the Spanish geography (Barcelona , Salamanca, Lleida, Albacete, Moguer (Huelva), etc ...) and Valencia (Valencia, Sagunto, Benicassim, Vinaroz, Peniscola, etc ...) with the "Clarinet Quartet" of JJMM Valencia gets the 2nd prize in the "Permanent National Competition of Chamber Music" organized by JJMM of Spain and held in the city of Albacete in September 1987.

He has served as Master-Director of Bands "Artistic-Musical Society" Castellnovo (Castellón) (October 1997-julio2001), "Musical Youth" Albal (Valencia) (September 2001-julio2002) and "Santa Cecilia Music Group "of Sedaví (Valencia) (September 2002-julio2009), with which many activities and participates in various festivals and contests that can obtain the 3rd out. Prize in the Provincial Contest Band Music of the Diputación de Castellón (3rd Section) held in Castellón, in April 2000, or obtain the 2nd prize in the National Competition of Bands "City of Leganés" (1 Section), in June 2004.

He has taught the subject of "Clarinet" at the Conservatory of Music "Pablo Sarasate" in Pamplona (Navarra) (during 1986/87) and the Conservatory of Music of Salamanca (during 1993/94), and as Professor of the subjects "Musical Forms", "Harmony" and "Analysis" at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Joaquín Rodrigo" in Valencia (94/95 courses to 96/97) and the Conservatory of Music of Valencia (courses 97/98 to 2003/04), from the 04/05 course lecturing on the subject "Analysis" at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Joaquín Rodrigo" in Valencia.

He has developed several presentations related to various topics (development of educational software, study of fragments of various authors (Stravinsky, Falla, etc ...), approach to musical analysis, etc ...) which have been exhibited throughout the celebration of different "Course" organized by the Department of Teacher Training of the Department of Education of the Generalitat Valenciana, which have been held in locations such as Valencia, Alicante, Godella (Valencia), etc ...
