Composed in 1975, this work follows the twelve-tone principle. It seeks to communicate the theory of risk, which disguises the melody with chords or overlapping intervals, resulting in new sonorities accompanied by controlled successions within a permanent indefinite atonality.

The piece contains a continual dialogue between the clarinet and the piano, and is constructed with three variations on the theme, which develop progressively to reach maximum tension in the final chromatics.
