The idea of these two works is to create a sound and timbral space very particular, ambiguous in many occasions, and in which the clarity of ideas is sometimes unspecific due to the density of the lines, that is, the participation of all components at once each proposing an idea, that makes a particular melodic and harmonic interweaving believed, as in the case of "Encounters" or without sacrificing classic elements within a modernist style as melodic obstinate - rhythmic of "Contrasts" which remains throughout the entire piece, and in which this movement is based for its construction. The harmonic language moves between modal and chromatic, making that the harmonious color is a very important part of the composition.
