“International Premium Chamber Music Salvador Seguí 2013”. As the title suggests, this book is a tribute to Ramón Ramos - one of the brightest Valencian composers of recent times -. Inspired by a composition of Ramos (Ricercare), Ramos-Care is built on the transformation of timbre, harmonic and rhythmic cell Bach and topics (subjects) of the Musical Offering and The Art of Fugue. Through the development of these themes and motifs, resulting in new topics, subjects and contrasubjectes, which are in permanent conflict to achieve domination of the speech sound.
The macro structure generally responds to a Ricercare. The tunes symbolize the memory, the state of a person lucid, integrity. The percussive chords, dissonances and changes of timbre, symbolizing decay, despair, illness ... The best proof of this is the use evocation of a music box, which represents being and living memory but also the total devastation.
