He was born in Palma de Mallorca. He started his music studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands where he obtained his Piano Degree. In 1990, he moved to Barcelona to begin studying Composition at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Barcelona along with his Piano studies. It was there where he got both his Degrees in Composition and in Music Theory. At the same time, he studied Mathematics at the University of Barcelona getting his Mathematics Degree in 1994.
Among his teachers, we can mention Xavier Boliart (Composition), Albert Balcells (Musical Analysis) and Àngel Soler (Piano). He has continued his formation in composition with Salvador Brotons in Barcelona since the year 2000.
In 1996 he went back to Palma and obtained a civil servant post as a music teacher in secondary education. Since the year 2001 he has been teaching at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Palma. At present, he is the Chair of the Composition Department. He also works for the SGAE since 2001.

At present, he lives in Palma de Mallorca.
He mainly works in Balearic Islands.
In the year 2000 he won the composition prize at the contest Art Jove from the Balearic Government with the piece “Divertimento” for strings, which was premiered by the chamber orchestra AULA 98 in May 2000 in Palma.
He is a regular member of the jury in the Rotaract Club Palma Piano Competition.
As a composer his work includes piano pieces, vocal pieces, chamber music and orchestral works. His commissioned works for different institutions and organisms include: “Five Episodes of the Majorca Conquest” for Band, commissioned by the Balearic Federation of music Bands; “Dance Suite” for orchestra, commissioned by Sant Jaume Dance Association; “The Holy Novice” cantata for children choir and piano, commissioned by the Teatre Principal Foundation; “Capriccio” for clarinet and piano, commissioned by the Professional Conservatory of Music of Palma for the opening concert of the course 2002/2003. On 24 April 2003 his Sonata for Violin and Piano will be premiered in Paris in a concert held by Instituto Cervantes.
The Professional Conservatory of Music of Palma has organized a monographic concert with pieces by him to take place in the forthcoming month of April.
