The theatrical language is one of the oldest means of expression in art. Ethos versus Pathos refers to the duality of the static or dynamic expressive emotion respectively. In the Greek drama, Ethos is part of the canon in most of the classic history. Pathos represents the use of human feelings to affect the judgment, and can get different readings, as human suffering, intimate emotion, or ethical concepts related to what is perceived by the person, biologically or culturally. In Theatrique, the connection between these elements is dealt with, and the dialectical modes of persuasion and rhetoric are explored.
