The idea of writing these studies comes from the need after my long experience in teaching both in Professional Teachings and in the higher grade to introduce students to the rhythmic and reading difficulties of today's music.
The studies present different rhythmic combinations, joints, changes of tempo and bars, technical complexity, exercises without bars of compass, etc., some of them are not easy and a precise work of concentration on the part of the student is necessary (to repeat passages, etc.) The teacher will set the minimum metronomic velocities to begin the study by the student, until gradually approaching the one indicated in the exercises by the author.
Some exercises may seem "elaborate", but if we think and study the music of consecrated composers of the first half of the 20th century (Stravinsky, Bartok, Vienna School, Copland, Messiaen, etc.), we see that the use of these metrics are most common in his work.
