Don Giovanni is considered the best and most representative work of W. A. Mozart.

Mozart decided on the subject of the seducer of women Don Juan, and at his side was again the librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte. The action takes place in Seville (Spain) in the mid-17th century. It is an opera qualified as dramma giocoso (comic drama), thus being a mixture between tragedy and comedy. In Don Giovanni we find solemn, powerful chords that anticipate an end marked by divine strength to punish the protagonist's sins.
