Work commissioned by the Duo Antwerp (Daniel Belloví, bass clarinet and Adilia Yip, marimba; www.duoantwerp.com).

The work is a "Malagueña", of great strength in its section A (and recapitulation), and great warmth and sensitivity in section B.

In it, the marimba and bass clarinet in different sections act both as the main instrument, as a secondary instrument, which gives the marimba a “principal” role at various stages of the work.
