Collection of pieces adapted to the subject of Ensemble of elementary Music.
The pieces are: Batalla Imperial I; 6 Menuets K. 164 (Menuets I y II)”; Quintettino G. 324 Op. 30 (Musica Notturna delle Strade di Madrid); España.
The pieces are instrumented for a flexible four part ensemble, plus others for percussion, taking special care with the tesitura of each individual part. For the purposes of clarity, each instrument has its own part. The instrumentation can be adapted to the most varied groups: clarinet quartet, brass quintet, string quartet, string orchestra, mixed ensemble, orchestra, band etc. But, according to the group, the teacher should be careful with the sound balance and the combination of different instruments in order to achieve the best posible sound. Each piece is preceded by a series of pitch and rhythm exercises that will facilitate the subsequent conclusion of the work piece.
The distribution of the parts is as follows (each with its corresponding pitch):
Flute and violin I correspond to part A, oboe, clarinet and trumpet contain parts A and B, violin correspond to part B; alto saxophone contains Part B and C, viola, horn and tenor saxophone correspond to part C , bassoon, trombone, cello, euphonium, tuba and bass correspond to part D. The percussion is distributed in timpani and tone bar instruments; percussion I and II separately.
There are optional parts: bass clarinet and baritone saxophone correspond to part D; Eb clarinet corresponds to part A, guitar and piano.
