Dedicated to Joaquín Alcaide, clarinettist. This work follows the line of concertante nº 1, since it does not seek at any moment to look for a tonal center to focus, being therefore a work where the composer uses the chromatic scale as a compositional element from the point of view of the melody and Of the harmony, being the interválica of 2ª minor and 4th tritono the central axes of the musical discourse, as much from the melodic point of view as harmonic, without at any time renouncing to the creativity from the lineal and dialogant point of view of the two instruments .
