Composition of the year 2013, order of the soloist, Javier Colomer. Organized in three movements; this concerto wants to exploit the technical and interpretative possibilities of a trombone but with the feature of being intended for bass trombone, opening this way possibilities for register and sound is concerned. The melodic lines are very care, facilitating the interpreter can retain easily them and making it easy to understand at all times to the listener. The harmonic language moves within a modal-tonal style along the entire composition, creating a very coloristic space, which makes also easy to understand from this point of view. The approximate duration is 19 minutes.
