This is a composition from 2004 and is dedicated to the composer’s son John. The difficulty of the piece is approximately 3rd grade of the elementary level.
Although it is structured in one movement, the different tempo changes it contains, such as the March, Waltz and Slow tempo, make its structure look like a small suite. The melody lines are fun, in addition to being designed so that the performer can easily remember them.
The duration is approximately 4'30 minutes.
"This work has the necessary pause for a beginner trumpet player so that s/he can enjoy the music during the performance and during the rests.
