Stabat mater

This work stems from a challenge launched by a singer that I did, in order to give a contemporary view of such a deep and painful subject, but always as current as the death of a child.

Was willing to give a more contemporary and more humane, less mystical vision of the "Stabat Mater": the death of a child felt and experienced by a mother, but transmitting those feelings through music.

Musically are twenty small vocal and instrumental pieces, most of them in the form of song and Aria "Da capo".

Instrumentally, yet it is hard to please, it is my wish that this Stabat Mater is always played by women. The reason is lit with the feeling of "mother" that only women have and can transmit.
