Composition of 2004. It is a work of great rhythmical strength, dynamic and timbric. The harmonic language ranges from tonal to modal creating some colourful harmonic parts.

This work was first structured in three movements: Gallop, sentimental waltz and Burlesque, but the fact that the Palfir 2004 march (march for an opening) was being composed that same year because of the opening of the acoustic of the Fair Palace of Tarragona, the composer included it as an introduction of the mentioned work.

It is necessary to highlight the emotiveness of the main subject of the waltz, from the march “Lady of the Rosary” that the composer dedicated to his mother in 1999, and that listeners can appreciate it transformed at the tempo of a waltz.
