Noelia Junquera Acien

Was born in Massanassa (Valencia). Since 2023 she has been a career civil servant in the Music and Performing Arts Teachers Corps specialising in Harp and is currently a Harp teacher at the Professional Conservatory of Music Guitarist José Tomás in Alicante.
She studied Harp at the “Joaquín Rodrigo” Higher Conservatory of Music in Valencia with Professor Elena Arana Savarín, where she obtained the Higher Degree in Music and the End of Degree Honour Award unanimously in 1994.
Winner of the First Prize for “Young Performers” by the University of Valencia (1992). She has received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture to pursue postgraduate studies in Germany, obtaining the title of Maisterklassendiplom from the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg under the tutelage of Professor Giselle Herbert in 1998.

In 2020 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Musical Research from the International University of Valencia (VIU). She has received advice from the teachers: Nicanor Zabaleta, Marisa Robles, Vera Dulova, and Gabriella Bosio among others. She has been a member of the body of Music and Performing Arts Professors of the
Generalitat Valenciana since 1998 and of the body of Music and Performing Arts Professors of the Generalitat Valenciana since 2006.
From 2007 to 2011 she was the harp soloist of the Valencia Orchestra, working under the baton of Michel Plasson, Frühbeck de Burgos, Leopold Hager, Yaron Traub, Pinchas Steinberg, Eiji Oue among others.
Currently, she combines her teaching work with performance and composition. She collaborates with the Valencia Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Spain, the Orchestra of the Valencian Community, the Municipal Symphony Band of Valencia, Collegium Instrumentale and Grup Instrumental de Valencia.
