Of humble origins, he achieves, thanks to the magic of his voice and his great personal effort, the highest peaks of fame, becoming one of the most gifted voices of the 20th century. It also explores his romantic relationships with a series of charismatic women of his time, who decisively influence his career and his life. Constantly hovering over some of the most important events in his life is the prophecy or curse that has afflicted his family since ancient times.
