Description

Composition of the year 2022 and dedicated to Jordi Donet, euphonium teacher and friend of the composer.
Structured in a single movement, but with three very well defined sections, this work highlights the two great aspects of the instrument: its excellence as a great melodic performer and its extraordinary technical-virtuosic capacity.
From a harmonious point of view, the mixture of modal, tonal and modern-impressionist brushstrokes make it a very colorful piece that is very enjoyable to understand and interpret. Furthermore, the total complicity of the piano, which will not be limited to simple accompaniment, but will be an element in constant dialogue with the euphonium, makes it a very enjoyable work for the two performers.
In terms of difficulty, it could be between levels 3 – 4 (scale 1 – 5).
The approximate duration is 7 minutes.
