The colors of nature

Description

Dedicated to my best friend and maestro Marcos Ripoll, soloist tuba of Bilbao Municipal Band. The score is structured in five movements –Yellow Sun; Green Rain; Blue Storm; Orange Sunset; White Thunder– and it’s about the human feelings in contact with nature and their colors variety. Through the reading of several books we obtain the explanation of every color used in this score:

1. Yellow: Is the color of the sun and the light. Also, it’s related to confidence, security, optimism, creativity, intuition and success. It develops concentration and it transmits a lot of energy.
2. Green: Is the color of hope. They are relaxing tones and they transport us to the nature. They recall harmony and balance, but also boredom.
3. Blue: Is the color of wisdom, calm and harmony, related with the sky or the sea.
4. Orange: Is the color of sensuality and abundance. Also, It recalls immaturity and frivolity.
5. White: Is the color of light and emocional well-being. It’s associated with the good acts and perfection.
